As part of our environmental strategy,
ARV are fully committed to comply with the W.E.E.E. regulations
(Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations)that
came into effect on July1 2007.
WEEE is the term applied to all electronic
and electrical equipment (TVs, PCs, white goods and vending
machines) when it is to be disposed of at the end of its life.
ARV has signed up with an independent collective
scheme to dispose of vending equipment which has come to the
end of its life cycle.
All machines supplied by ARV will be collected and returned
to the Team Valley depot for stripping of parts for re-use,
before being sent for disposal by our contractor.
The targets for ARV are to re-cycle 90%
of all machine parts with 10% being sent for waste.
