Disposable Vending Items
The packaging and containers we use are non toxic. Where possible
we promote the use of bio degradable cups ensuring that they do
not contribute to the build-up in landfill.
Our Vending Service Vehicles
Our delivery vehicles are all brand new, small and efficient, we
are now endeavouring to use low carbon emission gas for their power.
Our delivery schedules are well managed to ensure that the routing
does not cause undue mileage to be covered. We are committed to
reducing our carbon footprint.
Low Carbon Footprint Vending Machines
The vending machines we supply are of the highest efficiency, using
low energy lighting, flash/direct cooling technology, in-built heating
with energy management and 'end of life' machine recycling.
These characteristics all combine to provide
you with high quality vending equipment that provides long operational
life and environments soundness.
Healthy Vending Options
ARV encourage workplace wellness and offer you a variety of high
quality snacks and beverages, promoting healthier product options.
Recycling of Vending Cups
The Save a Cup scheme was established by
the vending, food service and plastics industries to collect the
millions of hard-wall polystyrene cups used in the UK every week.
The scheme is administered by the Save a Cup
Recycling Company. With more than a billion cups collected so far
for recycling, the company's objective is to increase the number
of cups collected in line with Government targets for recycling
packaging waste.
W.E.E.E. Directive
As part of our environmental strategy, ARV are fully committed to
comply with the W.E.E.E. regulations (Waste Electronic and Electrical
Equipment Regulations)that came into effect on July1 2007.
WEEE is the term applied to all electronic and
electrical equipment (TVs, PCs, white goods and vending machines)
when it is to be disposed of at the end of its life.
ARV has signed up with an independent collective
scheme to dispose of vending equipment which has come to the end
of its life cycle.
All machines supplied by ARV will be collected and returned to the
Team Valley depot for stripping of parts for re-use, before being
sent for disposal by our contractor.
The targets for ARV are to re-cycle 90% of all
machine parts with 10% being sent for waste.
