The new VendSense® system has been developed as a cost cutting energy saving innovation for any type of vending machines* and is available for new and existing machines.

The device uses microprocessor technology and PIR sensors and effectively switches off the vending machine when no motion of people moving around is detected within its vicinity within a pre-set timescale. On average this will eliminate up to 64% of the electricity that would be used by a machine in any given working week from Monday to Friday with the actual cost savings would be subject to your electricity tariff.

In order to ensure that there are no disruptions to the service provided, VendSense® can be set to switch off the vending machine after 2 hours of inactivity. It should be noted, however, that this timescale can be altered to suit the operational requirements of your actual business.

In addition, VendSense® can be retro-fitted to any vending machine*, whether new or old. It can either be fitted to the machine or wall mounted.

*Food vendors are the only exception due to temperature sensitive products being dispensed.
